Payment Methods
Insurance Accepted
Self-Pay Option
Clients who choose not to use insurance are welcome to pay privately for services. Self-pay offers greater flexibility, enhanced privacy, and eliminates the need for a mental health diagnosis to be shared with an insurance company.
Payment is securely processed through our client portal, and we accept major credit and debit cards, as well as HSA and FSA cards when eligible.
If you have questions about self-pay rates or whether using insurance or private pay is the best option for your situation, we are happy to discuss your options before your first appointment.
Questions About Coverage?
Understanding your insurance benefits can sometimes be confusing, but we're here to help.
Before your first appointment, we encourage you to contact your insurance provider to verify your mental health benefits. In particular, you may want to ask about your:
Deductible: The amount you are responsible for paying out of pocket each year before your insurance plan begins sharing the cost of covered services. Some plans have no deductible, while others require that it be met before benefits apply.
Copay or Coinsurance: Your portion of the cost for each session after your insurance benefits are applied. A copay is usually a fixed dollar amount (for example, $25 per visit), while coinsurance is a percentage of the session fee (for example, 20%).
If your plan includes a deductible or copay, these amounts are determined by your insurance company and are your financial responsibility.
If you would rather not contact your insurance company yourself, we are happy to verify your benefits for your initial session. Simply provide your insurance information when scheduling your appointment, and we will do our best to determine your estimated coverage and any expected out-of-pocket costs.
Please note that insurance verification is an estimate and does not guarantee payment. Ultimately, clients are responsible for understanding their insurance benefits and any balances not covered by their plan.
